Warm temperatures are expected again on Sunday with highs in the upper 90s. Afternoon heat index values will be 102 to 106. There is a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms along Interstate 70 in central Kansas.
Temperatures will continue to slowly increase, with forecast highs ranging from around 95 in far eastern Kansas, to around 100 across the middle of the state. Normal highs are in the lower 90s.
